End of July

Can't believe in a few days it will be August 1st! July has been a great month. I spent the family week in San Diego for Dad's ordination, had two weeks home, and this Friday will roll out with Brooke, Josh, and Evie bug to go meet Mom and Dad in San Diego for vacation! I'm SO ready for that! We've all been so busy this summer, it will be nice to be together.

After San Diego I have a week of packing and hanging out until I move back to school Monday the 18th! So crazy!! I feel like it's far away but know it's in 2 1/2 weeks. I end work on Thursday and am really ready from a break from that crazy schedule too!!

It's going to be harder than I thought to leave home. I get so comfortable in one spot then have to pick up and move! But it's all worth it :)

The pictures are from various events since San Diego. The crazy pictures with face paint and fun hair are from a night when I had some of the youth group girls over for a sleep over, then TPing our new pastor's house, the Moores, to "welcome" them:) Other pictures are from a wedding of my best friend Sarah's older brother, Kyle, and his beautiful bride, Kristen. It was such a classy wedding! Loved it. Oh, and a few are thrown in from our trip to the capitol with Brennan (new youth pastor) and his fiance, Amy.

July is here!

WOW! Time is flying by! I can't believe summer is winding down. Now I wish it could stay forever :) Funny how that works!

I am doing really, really awesome. I am so close to the Lord and really feeling His presence in my life and decisions. I feel pretty busy with life and keeping up with school and friends, but I don't mind the business. I like having things to do :)

Ok, so June has been a full month! I've been working a lot at Starbucks. Last week was Youth Camp which was honestly AMAZING! It was my frist time being a counselor and I really was in love with the role. I felt like I was finally given the role that I had wanted all along but wasn't in the position for: leading others. It was so great to have my friend Corinne there to be co-counselor with. We had an awesome cabin, the best team that I'd ever been on, and an amazingly fun time! God was really working in everyone's hearts and so many lives were changed!

Now that I'm back from Camp I've been working and tomorrow go backpacking with the college group to a place called Fresno Dome! It's seriously sooo beautiful! I will be down there until Sunday and drive straight to San Diego with Ashley. Then we're down there for Dad's ordination (WOO HOO!) until Thursday!

After next Thursday I have three weeks until the fam vacation in San Diego and five total weeks until I'm back at school. Sad sad. But also exciting in the same breath.

Alright, I need to do homework!! Enjoy the pictures :)

I came up to Camp early with Brooke and Evie to help with registration and watch the beautiful girl :) This is the sign as you enter the camp!

This is my friend Kelli who happened to be in my cabin. She's such an awesome girl :)

Mati Jo and me before a rally :)

Me and Taylor!!

Oh this picture just makes me smile :) this is my best friend Sarah whom I love :) She's so great.

Last day at Camp with the girls from my cabin!

Pool day after camp:)
Brooke and Evie! (Who is sporting the Carriage shirt that both Brooke and I wore!)

Pool basketball with the boys from the bad (Adam Cappa Band) who played at camp. They were seriously SO awesome to be with!!! Hilarious people.

Ok, so we took the band on a trip to San Francisco. And it happened to be Gay Pride Day! Ha! So we had a little fun with some pictures :) Here's Buck Rice and Brian from the band posing for us :)

And here's Sam and Adam (from the band as well)

Adam jumping like the iPod ads

Goodbye to my new awesome friends :( They went back home to Indiana and to continue their tour. It acutally was tough having them gone becasue I got used to the noise in the house and constant funny entertainment!

The end :)
