End of October!

Hello! A few updates for you all : )
Jeremy and I have had some really fun things going on lately! We spent Friday with his family, went to his sister Liz's cross country meet, his old high school homecoming game (where his sister Liz is now a Junior at), then out to a late dinner and back to his house for dessert and hanging out! We were out until about midnight with them (and apparently to him that was a big sign they approve of me!) so that was a great time to get to know them a lot more. His mom is an AMAZING hostess! Just like Mom :) with the talent of baking like Barbie. And the spunk like Liz Rice. And his Dad is just like Dave Odgers, firefigther and all :) His little sister Liz is like Abbey Wyley (basically the sweetest girl around) and his older brother Josh is like our Josh, very witty and the typical older brother: loud. It's been a lot of fun getting to know them:)
Here's some pictures from the meet:

Liz's Race starting off! She stayed towards the front the whole 23 minutes!

On Saturday we had a date night and with my roommates gone for the afternoon we decided to cook in! So we went and got stuff for spaghetti, cheesey garlic bread, and he made a green bean/sauted onion dish that was really good! (I know family, I ate onions!) We already dug in when I remembered to take a picture... so imagine this but looking even better!

An amazing surprise this week was getting a package from Aunt Jackie:) In it was a carved wooden frame that Grandpa Dean had made for me with a plaque hanging below it with my name and birth date. It meant so much to me, I teared up when I opened it. THANK YOU JACKIE!!! :) I hung it in my room with two pictures below it, one of me and grandpa when I was a baby and the other of my frame and the other grandkids' frames that Grandpa and Grandma Dean had in the house. Enjoy the picture below:)

Not much else is new! School is crazy and busy and I don't know how I accomplish my tasks in time but I do. This Friday for Halloween Jeremy's parents are throwing a party so I will be over there. Then just doing a bunch of homework!

I'll keep the updating going :) LOVE YOU!

Boooyfriend:)

Hi family!!

I've got some news:) I am dating one of my best friends, Jeremy. He's a sophomore here at APU and a Business Admin major with a Biblical Studies minor. He loves Jesus and is honestly the sweetest guy I've ever met! We worked together last year in the coffee shop and got to be really great friends, talked through summer, and this year have two classes together and he lives above me! Oh, and we work together this year for Chapel. SO, I've gotten to know him very well and I am looking forward to all of you getting to know him too!

Here are some pictures from our first offical date to Hunnington Beach on Tuesday. We had such a fun night! It really couldn't have been more perfect:) Sunset walk on the beach, dinner on the pier at Rubys, a diner, and then hanging out under the stars :)

So, you all will be hearing much more about him! :)

School is going really well. It's hard but that's expected. My midterms are luckily spread out over these next few weeks so I am able to prepare for one at a time. I'm loving, loving, loving the girls I am living with! My roommate Holly and I have gotten close, as well as the other three, Kalie, Catherine and Elli. And the guys upstairs where Jeremy lives couldn't be more fun! I've known them as long as I known Jeremy.

I was able to go home for the weekend when Jeremiah flew in to speak. I drove home with Brian and Buck, family friends, and spent the week with the fam! Had an awesome time :) Some pics of me and Evie will be below as well :)

19 years of life...

...and still going!
Thank you family & friends for blessing me with your amazing birthday wishes! I really appreciate all of you:) I had such an amazing birthday! On Friday, the 3rd, I went out with friends shopping then to Pasadena for dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. YUMM! Then on Saturday I went to play my intermeural softball game and we all went out to breakfast afterwards. Then lunch with my good friend Corinne. Came back to a decorated house and cake, etc. Overall, great day :) The weather here is kind of rainy so felt great to just stay in and hang out.

I feel like I'm doing a ton better in regard to the spiritual things I wrote about in the last post. One of my professors addressed a lot of the things I've been working through. Also, he stated that his point of this semester is to show that we don't have proof as Christians. Basically, we don't REALLY know if we can trust the sources, maybe even the Bible, but if those things were taken away from us would we STILL believe in Jesus? Because our walk with the Lord is supposed to be about faith, not proof. So that was really good to hear and good to know that's the perspective he's teaching the class from!

This week looks pretty awesome for me. I've already worked ahead on some of my homework so the only thing I have is a huge exam Monday night for my 1&2 Samuel class then nothing the rest! Except for doing work for the next week that is. Then on Friday I get to go HOME! So looking forward to seeing everyone and the ever growing Evie! I'm sure she's about 4 feet now. And I've heard that Josh is just losing weight like crazy- so everyone's changing!

It's funny, next week I already have midterms. And as of this week tehre are only 10 weeks left of the semester. Then a month long Christmas. Then South Africa. Then baby no. 2 arrives! Camp. San Diego. Junior year. And back to saying how hard the semester is and how quickly everything is flying by!

Love you all. Have wonderful days :)
Paige

I've done an awful job documenting my life for a while.. but here are some random pictures:
