Disneyland December Dream!

Ok, before you read this post go to the one below and read all about my November adventures :) THEN you can read about Disneyland December Dream and what's going on in my life these days!! And that's an order! ;)

So Disneyland has been giving away different prizes in their "Year of a Million Dreams". Out of 80,000 people in Disneyland park, a computer generated program selected the location, chair and everything about a particular spot on the park. SO the people went to that spot and there sits Jill (my cousin) in Monster's Inc!!! They tell them they've "potentially" won a prize, take them into a room and there on a TV the whole prize is explained!

It was AMAZING! Barbie called me and I met up with them at 6pm. (This happened at 10:30am) Before I got there they got escorted around the park, going to the first in any line and got a tour of the BIG prize: the Disney Dream Suite. This suite was Walt Disney's vision for himself, right above Pirates of the Caribbean, and was completed after his death. It was amazing! Full of suprises (such a as a huge bathtub the has great lights in it that are stars and on the hour the main room has different "magical" things that happen!)

Everything was paid for too! We got to eat inside Pirates of teh Caribbean at the Blu Bau (sp??), got to ride in the Grand Marshall's car in the parade as the guests of honor, get an after hours tour in our PJs when everyone, including staff, had gone home & take pictures everywhere!, as well as sleeping in the Dream Suite, watching movies, breakfast with the characters, and much much more :) ENJOY the pictures!!! (Sorry they're scrambled a little!)

November upon reflection:

So, it's been a little over a month since I've written last. This blog seems to take so long to update! So my appologies for not making it priority.

First: In November Jeremy got to come home to Sacramento with me to meet the family! It was so great having him be able to meet everyone, especially Grandma Dean who was in town! From what I hear they all approve, so that's great! We went to Concord to meet Grandma's brother Dick and family on that side. We also took a visit to the capitol and hung out with everyone!

Next I got to go home for Thanksgiving! It was such a great time! I got to see Brooke, Josh and Evie more than I ever usually do on trips home. Here are some pictures of us all at the park, at Barbie's house, and hanging out with wiggs on!:

Jeremy and I went on a double date with our friends Elli and Caleb to go minature golfing! We had an awesome time! Here are some pics :)

Then at the end of November we went to a friend's party in her apartment called "Holiday Hoopla!" where we all dressed up and brought desserts and had SO much fun!! It was great to be able to get dressed up and go out :) The first ones are of 3 of my 4 roommates then me and Jeremy :) We all made desserts too... I made pudding pie :) YUM!

Finals week is this week. Then Jeremy and I are going home and he is leaving Thursday the 18th. The next Thursday is Christmas!! Then I get to hang out with the family and enjoy being home :) I leave for APU sometime in the week of Jan 12th. I leave for Africa on January 20th at 4pm from APU! I come back on May 6th into LAX, spend some time here, and then go home for an awesome, baby filled summer!! I will update a TON more later on my trip to South Africa :)

So that is November (and my future) in a nutshell! Now go to the blog up to read about amazing Disneyland experience!!

Happy Halloween!

and Happy Birthday, Daddy!!!

Can I just say it? I had the BEST Halloween!!! My work really gets into holidays, and transformed our office into a space ship outside, and our theme was Nerds! We had Star Trek playing and Nerds candy everywhere and everyone was in their best nerds costume. Here was mine:

And later that night I got to go to Jeremy's house where his mom cooked an amazing meal for us, Pizza Caserol, huge ceasar salad, fruit plate to die for, etc. etc. So, I only have pics of me and Jeremy but his brother and his girlfriend and roomate dressed up as Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach and definitely won the prize of best costume everywhere we went! His little sister, Liz, had 3 friends over and they did a pumpkin theme. Jeremy and I, as you will see, were cowboy & cowgirl :)

The night before we carved our pumpkin, which was hilarious because I was the one who wanted to get my hands in the guts! It was a really fun time. And named it Ken (after pumpKIN of course).

When we were at Jeremy's house we went to a place that had the popularity of Dove Court at Christmas back in Sacramento! It was in a rich part of Pasadena and Alvera St is known for the amazing amount of decorations! The pumpkins we saw were so amazing! You KNOW these people had money. Here's an example:

And some had to have been done by an artist. I don't know how well this will turn out, but this was The Grinch. Haha.. I made Jeremy take a picture with it.

And that was Halloween!

Next week I am going to post a video that shows where I am going in South Africa. It hasn't been released yet, but I saw it and I think it will give you all an AMAZING perspective of what I'll be doing and where I will be.

Love you all!
