January's over!

Hi everyone! Can you believe January is over already? Wow! I'm a fourth of the way through this semester! This is just going to fly by!!

Not much has happened these last 10 days since I blogged last (hense no new blog!). Mom and Dad are in South Carolina this week for classes and then go to see the Kerstetters tomorrow afternoon. It's funny, even though I'm away from home I still don't like when they're gone!

Next weekend Dad is going to be down in Ontario for a conference so I'll be able to see him when it's not in session. I'm SO excited about that!!

I feel like I've gotten a pretty good balanace of school/homework/internet/God, etc. Well, all except for exercise. Now that I don't have aerobics I've been lazy. But tomorrow morning at 7am I'm startin' up again!

I posted a picture of my new hair cut. My hairdresser thinned out SOOO much of it! My goodness usually when I get it thinned out it's more subtle! My ponytale is pothetic now! But I love the cut and it naturally has volume, which has never been the case for me! I am growing it out for Lauren's wedding so she didn't take off any length, just layered it. And took out 1/3 of my hair.

I miss Evie so much! I can't wait to see her next :)

3 Day Weekend :)

Hello Family!

Well, might I say since I've gotten back to school I've had an adventurous time! Last weekend was the trip to the mountains which was so fun! Those pictures were in the blog before. This weekend I went to a concert Friday night for extra credit in my Freshman Writing class.

This Saturday I went to the beach with about 20 other friends. It was SO fun!!! We played ultimate frisbee on the sand, tanned and just hung out. It was seriously SUCH a fun time!!! Then Sunday three friends and myself went to Santa Barbara for the night. We had an alright time. Didn't get much accomplished like I had hoped, so tonight I'm going to focus and get more stuff done. I'm glad to be back!

Hi family!! So with the new semester just beginning and not too much work yet, my friends and I decided to go up to my friend Jeff's family cabin. It's only about 45 minutes away in the mountains, so we left Friday night and came back sunday noon. It was SO much fun!! You'll see from the pictures we had a great time. It was a nice break from the crazy first week of school and getting back into things. I can't believe I've only been here a week! It honestly feels like Christmas was months ago!!

Anyways, things are going well. Classes are much more intense this semester. My Luke/Acts class has about 60+ pages of reading for each class, and that's only one class! I will hopefully keep a good balance of time with God/exercising/school work/relaxing/relationships! So far so good!

Oh, and if you haven't heard from Brooke's blog, Evie is laughing now! That brings joy to my heart!! I can't wait to see her do it!! :)

Hiii everyone :) Just wanted to give a little update. I am sick.. lame! It's the whole cold, stuffy, grossness that's going around here. I'd held out for so long not getting it! So now I'm sleeping a lot and trying to not let it get really bad.

Last night my friend Dom had a Christmas party at his house which was a lot of fun! It was so nice being in a HOUSE! I can't even tell you!! His mom made tooons of cookies and fudge and hot chocolate and we went and looked at Christmas lights. It was a nice break from being in the dorms all the time!

I'm really ready for this week to be over, and it to be Thursday at 3 when Megan and I drive back! Tomorrow I have a speech to give, my speech final, as well as my health final to email in. Tuesday is my Bio final which will be quite intense. Wednesday I have Exodus/Deuteronomy and Thursday I have Philosophy. All to say, I've got a busy week!

Ok, I need to get on stuff. Have a good week and I'll see most of you all SOON!!!

BOO on finals! I know most of you have experienced this before, but they're HARD! So yeah, I'm spending so much time working and studying and trying to stay sane in the midst of the chaos of ending the semester! I'm SO looking forward to coming home!!! Can't wait to see the changes in Evie, especially now that she's smiling!
