So far Christmas break has been so relaxing! I've been able to catch up on sleep, and finally relax with no worries. I'm really looking forward to Christmas, then going to visit the Kerstetters!!! All to say, this is a very exciting month :)

Hiii everyone :) Just wanted to give a little update. I am sick.. lame! It's the whole cold, stuffy, grossness that's going around here. I'd held out for so long not getting it! So now I'm sleeping a lot and trying to not let it get really bad.

Last night my friend Dom had a Christmas party at his house which was a lot of fun! It was so nice being in a HOUSE! I can't even tell you!! His mom made tooons of cookies and fudge and hot chocolate and we went and looked at Christmas lights. It was a nice break from being in the dorms all the time!

I'm really ready for this week to be over, and it to be Thursday at 3 when Megan and I drive back! Tomorrow I have a speech to give, my speech final, as well as my health final to email in. Tuesday is my Bio final which will be quite intense. Wednesday I have Exodus/Deuteronomy and Thursday I have Philosophy. All to say, I've got a busy week!

Ok, I need to get on stuff. Have a good week and I'll see most of you all SOON!!!

BOO on finals! I know most of you have experienced this before, but they're HARD! So yeah, I'm spending so much time working and studying and trying to stay sane in the midst of the chaos of ending the semester! I'm SO looking forward to coming home!!! Can't wait to see the changes in Evie, especially now that she's smiling!

Weekend fun and new hair :)

Hello! So Dad brought two of my friends and seniors in the youth group, Buck and Kelly, down for a preview weekend at my school. We had a fun time and Dad and I were able to hang out and have fun :) This picture is taken in the GAP store in a shopping center I'd never been to but LOVE called Victoria Gardens.



Also, earlier this week I got my hair cut, so this is my extremely happy face showing off the new hair :)



Today I have a paper to write on Skepticism. Tomorrow one to write on a passage in Deuteronomy (FUN! or not..) and then Tuesday I leave for ALABAMA at 5:30pm! I'm SO EXCITED!!!!!!! It seems like ages since I've seen Devin last! Even if it was just a month ago.

Donner Family Trip!

Hello! I had such a fun time this past weekend at Donner with the family! Barbie picked me up and we drove up. It was so nice being with everyone!! This week is going to FLY by! I'm so busy with a speech today, a bio test tomorrow, philosophy paper thrusday and an exodus/deuteronomy paper to do before Thanksgiving! So YES family, I do have homework! Every day!!! But who wants to post pictures of that?? :)

Birthday Festivities!

Just wanted to let you all know what’s been going on in my life!

Schools been going really well. It’s been interesting balancing the never ending social events and never ending schoolwork. This last week I had an ammmmazing birthday! Thank you all for the wonderful cards, presents, and amazing cookies (Barbie!) I got a beautiful necklace from Devin too. I’ll attach a picture. On Thursday, my actual birthday, I had such a fun and relaxing day. I woke up to my roomie singing happy birthday in her morning voice (always entertaining), got plenty of texts and calls, came back to my room after a few texts and my roomie had decorated the room with balloons and streamers. How nice! That night some friends and I went to Arcadia about 25 minutes away to Cheesecake Factory for dinner. SO fun! And once again, I was sang happy birthday.

Friday I worked, napped, and went to a dinner event for my dorm called My Tie. Everyone who went was all dress up and the guys wore ties. We all met in the lobby and the guys placed their ties in the middle and each girl had to take one then find their guy. We ended up driving in groups about 40 minutes outside to Universal Studios to the Buca di Peppo right outside on the City Walk. I sat at a table of about 20 people. It was pretty cool because I didn’t know anyone at my particular table so I was able to meet new friends. And once again, they sang happy birthday!

Saturday was BEACH DAY! A part of my hall (Fourth West) went to a beach in San Clemente and relaxed for the afternoon. The water was pretty cold but after running around it felt nice. I’ll attach a picture of that day too.

So overall I’ve had the most eventful weekend yet! It has been an amazingly fun birthday weekend and I’ve felt so much love. I am SO excited to go home this weekend and see the fam… and EVIE! Brooke’s been so wonderful about sending me videos and pictures I can watch and look at over and over.
